As the Director of Finance at United Wealth Advisors Group, Julie oversees a wide range of financial responsibilities. In this role she supports internal business operations and is responsible for inter-company accounting and financial reporting, including revenue tracking, budgeting, forecasting as well as special projects as they arise.
With over four years at UWAG, Julie brings more than 15 years of experience in the defense industry and non-profit organizations to her current role. Her journey into finance was preceded by a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Syracuse University and an MBA from George Washington University. Being new to the financial management world, Julie has enjoyed learning about the industry and applying her skills to support UWAG and WAG in this exciting field.
Originally from Baltimore, MD, she now resides in Potomac with her two teenagers. Outside of the office, Julie is an active member of both her church and her fraternity, Tri Delta. Using her professional background, she supports both organizations with their finance needs. Julie finds it incredibly rewarding to give time back to the communities that have provided her with such great support and memories, and it allows her to remain connected within those communities.
In her free time, Julie loves to play tennis, take her dog for long walks, and travel with friends and family. These activities provide her with a perfect balance between her professional responsibilities and personal interests, allowing her to enjoy the best of both worlds.
